Welcome to DGIST DataLab!
Our mission is to develop computer systems that efficiently deal with a huge amount of data, in terms of performance, power, and cost, while ensuring data availability, durability, and persistency. To this end, we are carrying out studies across a variety of computing platforms, ranging from memory devices, server systems to even distributed systems, where data is of importance. In particular, our research focuses on designing, refactoring, and optimizing computer systems from the perspective of efficient data management by leveraging lastest algorithms like machine learning (ML) and deep-learning (DL).
[Notice] We are actively seeking students who are interested in machine learning and want to solve important system problems by leveraging machine learning techniques. You can find the details of our machine learning studies in the Research page. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact Prof. Lee (sungjin.lee@dgist.ac.kr).
